Joe and Reece Wynans. kept up their end of the bargain. However, the speakers were so loud, that they drowned out Joe's and the girls singing. He shredded the guitar all night long Awesome...including a different guitar for each song. We saw him at the Warner Theatre and few years back and the whole production was Perfect.

GREAT MUSICIANS BUT TOO LOUD
I was invited to the Joe Bonanassa concert in Chicago by a friend. All of the musicians were first class. Unfortunately, I felt like I was being assaulted by ruthless volume all night. As soon as it started, I couldn’t wait for it to end. I could not understand the words being sung by Joe or his backup vocalists. Volume does not equate to energy or excitement. Not sure why these artists believe it does. It was actually painful. Had I not been invited by a friend I would have left.

JOE B. AT THE RIVERSIDE
Enjoyed the show immensely, but thought the sound mix left much to be desired. Very muddy on the bass line. One would think that could be corrected with a sound check. Could not hear backup singers, and some of Joe's solos were unintelligible. But still was a fun night and would do it again next year and hope by then he figures the sound thing out.

NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TIME
I saw Joe when he came to Buffalo five years ago. The show is stellar the sound was fantastic , this time, not so much the Soundsystem had a massive hum in the left cluster that remained there pretty much throughout the show sitting where I was up in the third row balcony. I thought the sound will be great. It was terrible p the left speaker cluster had a 60 cycle hum throughout the entire show at one point it went away, but it came back . The mix was also horrendous. It was blazing not that I mind out loud show, but it was the mix was all out of context the vocals or rather buried there was no warmth in the low end. The mix totally lacked soul.
I was rather disappointed that he did not have his horn players with him . Also, really missed Anton Figon the drums

JB & THE BAND ARE DEF 5 STAR, SOUND DISTORTION OVERPOWERED THE GOODNESS
Saw JB @ Shea last night. First time @ Shea...gorgeous. I found the sound SO LOUD that the vocals and some of the instrumental was grossly distorted which was a big disappointment. When Joe spoke, forget trying to understand. I think the sound techs should set up and actually listen from various points of the audience. Clearly what those on stage were hearing wasn't what the rest of us were.

DISA PPOINTMENT
i saw bosamana at verizon 4 yrs ago.. i think the entire venue was on its feet the entire show. the music you could feel every note, i was exhausted when i left. Tonight no horn section, reduced backup vocals different player, the whole sound seemed off. It was not good. i had been looking forward to this concert since i first heard the date scheduled. i sat in my seat wondering if everyone else was thinking the same thing i was thinking.. i think the crowd enthusiasm to the story.. not intiol he played the last two number , Just Got Paid Today, and Mountain Time was there any life in the audience..there was just no electricity in the air tonight

WAS EXPECTING QUITE A BIT MORE
no horn section, watered down back up singers, poor mix quality, questionable song selection.. there was nothing electrifying about this show, little more than polite applause from the audience/ saw the show a few year ago in an arena. i think the whole place was on its feet for most of the show, every lick from joes guitar was crystal clear and rang through your body fridays show was no match for the previous show.. very disappointing as it was a Robinson Theater. the only life in the show was the closing two numbers./. Just got paid today, and the encore Mountain Time, which was jumped right into without the intro you see on the video from royal albert hall.. i think i actually dosed of one inthe performance.
