About Nine Inch Nails

Formed in Boston in 2000 and fronted by Spencer Charnas, Ice Nine Kills' signature sound and cinematic storytelling reached new heights with The Silver Scream and its sequel, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, with each album inspired by a collection of famous horror films.

Their horror credentials have also seen them collaborate directly with some of the biggest names in the genre. The band contributed “A Work of Art” to Terrifier 3, “Twisting the Knife” to Scream 7, featuring Mckenna Grace, and “Hell or High Slaughter” to Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. In 2026, they also entered the world of Dead by Daylight with the single “Play Dead”.

Ice Nine Kills' reputation extends well beyond the metal scene. They have toured alongside Slipknot and were personally selected by Metallica to join their M72 World Tour, while their spectacular live production earned them the Rock Sound Award for Best Live Act in 2023.
