American rapper and singer Lil Skies is coming to a stage near you! Known for his emo-rap influences, the Pennsylvania-born artist first broke onto the scene with his breakthrough tracks “Red Roses” and “Nowadays”, before making his major-label debut with Life of a Dark Rose in 2018.

About Lil Skies

Born Kimetrius Christopher Foose, Lil Skies began freestyling at just three years old, inspired by his father, a hip-hop artist. After releasing music independently and opening for artists including Fetty Wap and Lil Uzi Vert, he caught the attention of Atlantic Records, signing with the label in 2017. His debut mixtape, Life of a Dark Rose, went on to peak at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and earned platinum certification from the RIAA, while “Red Roses”, “Nowadays” and “Lust” all made their mark on the Billboard Hot 100.

His debut studio album, Shelby, arrived in 2019 and reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200, followed by his second album, Unbothered, in 2021. Along the way, Lil Skies has collaborated with artists including Lil Durk, Landon Cube, NoCap and Zhavia Ward, while continuing to develop his distinctive fusion of hip-hop, trap, emo rap and pop. Since going independent in 2023, Lil Skies has continued to push his sound in new directions and release new music.
